The White Ferret is a role-playing community/forum based on the Harry Potter series with an anime twist and is aimed at teenagers.
Starting out on GeoCities, TWF has been functioning since the first of September, 2001 and development has been on an on-going basis.
The main website was scripted in Notepad and the graphics were created in Adobe Photoshop. The forum is powered by phpBB and has been heavily modified.
At the moment of writing - 05 SEP 06, The White Ferret has 1,677 registered users and more than 75,000 posts. This has been achieved since the current version launched back in February, 2006.
